Australia's biggest philanthropists include some mega names of business and many of these generous successful people have influenced the general public into giving what they can to help people less well off. While there are many collectively there are some that stand out from the pack, the people who have not given only gifts, but also time and energy into helping others. Setting up foundations and revolutionary projects across the world and most importantly in home soil there is one particular businessman who stays in the limelight. Over the course of his lifetime he has collectively donated hundreds of millions of dollars to causes such as hospitals, medical research, education and the arts, so who his this man?

Wanting to remain nameless so has not to receive social accolades so that he can focus entirely on business and charitable projects. While he has given interviews and made generous proclamations in public we have decided to just share some of his cause that have helped thousands of Australians. Stating that the Giving Australia 2015 was a key piece of legislation that was passed has it shows the greater insight about why people give and highlights the importance of these projects, this business tycoon helped change the way in which most philanthropist operate. There seems to be more of a structured way in which the elite and very wealthy give to the people. In particular this businessman and self made man dedicates much of his time helping the disadvantaged and improving education in remote communities in the country for the past 15 years. It is estimated that the company has gifted almost $250 million to directly help the construction of schools, apprentice programs and the hiring of staff and skilled tutors for people in these communities. One of the largest donations ever recorded was 50$ to help the Indigenous Health Network which deals with people living in the bush and outback.

Focusing on education ensures the productivity of the future as it enables the next generation to get the best possible chance at shaping a brighter future.
